Recycling    The Conservation Station Buy Back Center, buys back California Redemption Value, (CRV), items such as:   ·        Plastic Water bottles (PET #1) ·        Plastic Milk Jugs (HDPE #2) ·        Glass bottles ·        Aluminum Cans   Items must have the Ca CRV label on the items in order to receive money back. Location: 20745Santa Clara St, Canyon Country Ca. 91351 Phone number: (661) 250-5333 Hours of operation: M-F 7:30am to 4:30pm Sat 8:00am to 1:00PM                                  The Conservation Station Processing Center processes the following items for maximum diversion of materials going to landfill:   C & D (Construction & Demolition) Materials: Mixed loads are hand sorted to remove:             * Wood             * Drywall             * Metals             * Cardboard   Inert Materials:   Mixed loads of concrete, dirt, rock & stone is machine sorted to separate materials for recycling or reuse. Clean items are also accepted and divereted.   Greenwaste & Wood:   Greenwaste, tree branches and wood are grinded or sent out for reuse or processing and eliminated from the landfill for maximum diversion.   Overall, this facility if hovering at about 80% diversion for all materials  coming into the yard. With the City of Santa Clarita at a 54% diversion rate for year ending 2007, we know that we were a big part of helping the City reach that number. Forty Seven percent of the waste stream comes from Construction & Demolition materials and that happens to be our specialty
